Requirements:

- Minimum Associate’s degree in Japanese language, linguistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Japanese interpreter in the automotive industry and familiar with automotive terms.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Job Description:
- Provide accurate and timely interpretation during meetings, conferences, and discussions between Japanese and English-speaking team members.
- Translate technical documents, reports, and correspondence related to automotive engineering and manufacturing processes.
- Act as a bridge between Japanese and English-speaking teams to enhance understanding and cooperation.
- Assist in clarifying technical details, specifications, and requirements to ensure alignment between stakeholders.
- Develop a strong understanding of automotive terminology, manufacturing processes, and industry-specific jargon to facilitate effective communication in both languages.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes.
- Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and awareness to navigate potential cultural differences between Japanese and Indonesia-speaking team members.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating meetings, presentations, and training sessions involving Japanese and Indonesia-speaking participants.
- Ensure all relevant materials are accurately translated to facilitate smooth communication.
- Translate technical documents, manuals, and other written materials to support the exchange of information between teams.
- Maintain accurate records of translated materials for future reference.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, and executives, to ensure effective communication throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Participate in project discussions to provide real-time interpretation and support.
- Assist in resolving language-related challenges and misunderstandings that may arise during the development and execution of automotive projects.
